he first activity of the group started in 1969, founded by Sabatino Faraone, with the production of aluminium window frames. The capacity of the company to realise complex works of a high technological profile allowed it to develop quickly: in just 5 years Faraone was transformed from a craft company to a window frame industry with its new factory in the industrial area of Tortoreto.
1979 marks the beginning of production of aluminium ladders, developed by Piero Faraone. Initially it was a department inside of the window frame company. A few years later it became a reality of its own, becoming what is today: IMA SPA.
FotoVery soon the Faraone trademark established itself on a national level and abroad for the quality of its aluminium ladders, an innovative product at that time quickly replacing the commonly used wooden ladders.
After 10 years, Faraone became an absolute leader with a significant quota both on the Italian and international market in the work ladder segment.
